About us
The name of our restaurant means ‘Taste of Wilanow’ (a southern district of Warsaw). In life, all is a matter of taste. Our goal was to create a restaurant which combines a great selection of tasty dishes, unique decor and hospitality. It is a place in which you would like to eat and meet our friends.
TASTE Wilanow is situated in ‘Miasteczko Wilanow’ area, but delicious cuisine and subtle atmosphere attracts visitors from all over Warsaw. It is an ideal place for breakfast, business lunch or banquet, as well as a venue for a family meal.
TASTE Wilanow is one of the first restaurants in Poland to promote the latest global trend – Honest Cooking. This is a combination of the well-known Slow Food style with great attention to the quality of the products and their usage in the kitchen.
Our Staff
TASTE Wilanow staff is composed of people for whom cooking is not only a chance to make money, but also a way of life. We employ people who, like us, take delight in working in the restaurant, enjoy interaction with the guests and who will treat each day as an opportunity to learn something new.
PAWEŁ MATUSIK
- His passion is cooking and culinary travels around the world. In various parts of the world he seeks local delicacies, discovering new flavours. In his opinion every cuisine provides something new and interesting. He gained knowledge of project management in the field of hotel business and gastronomy at the Sheraton (Starwood network), the Hyatt Regency Warsaw hotels in Poland, and also abroad at the Le Château D'Ouchy Hotel and the Abbott & Emmel Consulting company in Switzerland.
- Pawel studied the secrets of work organisation within large teams and of individual and corporate customer service in the hotels. In Abbott & Emmel Consulting he worked on analysis, corporate strategy and improvement of quality of service. He also worked as a general manager at Pure Sky Club, where he was responsible for the implementation of the strategy of an innovative project on the Polish market and monitoring and conducting tenders for the purchase of equipment, software and the employees recruitment.

PAWEŁ PACIOREK
- He was a lawyer in accordance with the family tradition, but his passion for cooking eventually prevailed. Passion for good food began in his childhood. As a young boy he travelled with his parents all over the world. Visiting restaurants and bars were an integral part of these trips.
- He is a partner in the FoodCraft Company and co–owner of the TASTE brand restaurants. He is responsible for the conceptual and legal investment processes in the FoodCraft company. Pawel deals with solving legal, tax and accounting problems, also creating agreements with contractors and subcontractors. He also represents investors in public administration offices, helping to obtain the necessary permits and choosing the best form of business.
- He worked in one of the largest international law offices, Hogan Lovells LLP. He specialised in advising investors in real estate law, construction law and environmental protection. He dealt with the preparation of due diligence reports, lease, rental, real estate sales and corporate law. He has previous experience in the Legal Department at Bank Pekao S.A. He also completed legal studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw in Poland.
